genelec are the best on the market at the moment ,they are very directional & get your mixes really bright but bif you wanna have less brightness on your mixes go for some adams with ribbon tweeters.

dude , i have tryed many monitor systems .
the one that made things work good for me are the genelec ones .i can't really say one is better than the other but i make a linving out of doing mastering on genelec speakears .i recomend the brand to any serious musicians with a good budget for monitors

waves maxbass or waves rbass does the trick for the low contour, i use them for mastering & get better results ,
i haven't found anything that process the top end of the signal .
try to use it with the ffx4 directx to vst converter .
