For example, if I play 5 seconds on C, then switch to G, it would start playing at that pitch starting at 5 seconds (where it last ended). Can this be done with Simpler?

Ableton and my VSTs aren't receiving data from my PCR-500 controller. The keyboard works fine but knobs, faders, and control pads aren't received. I'm routing a vocoder with NI Razor. My midi tracks have no output option to send Midi... they only have an "Audio To" option. Do I have my settings wrong?

Max Application settings weren't there when I installed it the first time (did a reformat recently).

Which version of Live and Max should I be using? I thought Live 9 shipped with Max for Live

I'm running Live 9 64-bit, trying to set up Max 7. Max 7 is installed on my computer. There's no section in Ableton's file/folder preferences for Max Application, so I can't tell it where to look for the program. Is there a step I've missed?
