Having a dedicated session view and then whatever (user 1 or 2, mixer) could open even more possibilities for what you can do in a live situation. Anybody else doing this yet?

i got one but can't get it to setup in live 7... :? i can use it like a normal midi control and assign functions to pads. just not like it does for 8. the launchpad edition of 8 has it all setup great and works awesome. it's just a lite version of live so it's super nerfed down and i can't load any ...

there isn't an option for the launchpad as a control surface in preferences/midi sync. i tried apc 40 but it just lights up a couple of random pads.
