Re: Windows 7 -- Interface DPC latency issue - ACPI.sys driver
Oh by the way I have a marginally lower spec laptop to the one you have. I have i7 2670QM 2.20Gigagumdrops with 8Giga wotsits of RAM with a non SSD drive. Yes it gets upset sometimes but I figure that it's probably due a fresh install because I just upgraded to the 1607 (OS Build 14393.447) only two...

Re: Windows 7 -- Interface DPC latency issue - ACPI.sys driver
Have you got the 1st or 2nd Gen Focusrite? Have you checked for updated ACPI.sys (device manager, right click under batteries I think it is, update driver, search www?) Have you tried using a custom power plan so that you can un throttle all the eco friendly, but un eco Ableton friendly, settings? H...

Re: EQ8: Serious issues with Bass. Here is the proof.
That's a shame, I just got into the habit of DC offsetting prior to last limiter. Not much to hear down that low anyway. Shame about the EQ 8. I think it could do with some lower capabilities just so that we producers can at least see what is down there even if we can't hear it that well. I always s...

Complex & Complex pro Warp modes contain Artifacts
I had similar problems with these warp modes, only discovered when I opened up older sets with the new version that had samples already set in one of these two modes, and was wondering what all the noise was. But I'm not sure if the problem I was having was/is the same issue as in the bug fix notes?...

Sampler Crop Crash (I will call it SCC for short)
Rather a reliable crash this one. Yes, it has been reported. No, I haven't tried standing on my head and restarting the computer. Find a sample from say, a 4 bar recording, because it might not happen with a smaller sample, drag it into Sampler then crop it and blam! Well, that's what happens to me ...

Re: 2 GB size limit in 64-bit version of Live?
I saw this message the other day. I don't think that it was size related. I was resampling some stuff from midi to audio, like you do, in one version of live and then I tried to drag the sample into another open copy of live to start a new arrangement. It didn't allow me to do it because of that ver...

I have this if I click on the splash page when Ableton is loading.
I just go and put the kettle on and let it do it's housekeeping.

Re: 2 GB size limit in 64-bit version of Live?
Hello, We have recorded a long drum session into multi-mic drum samples as separate 32-bit floating point PCM WAV files in the professional record studio. Each WAV would be around 2.1 GB in size. I just tried to load these samples into a Live set and Live would not allow me to do this. I found the ...

Sounds like there is more than one sound/playback device enabled and they are both sending the signal. Maybe you need to disable one?

Re: arrangement drifting out of time
Yo. I have been caught out with timing issues when the clips are not quite where they are supposed to be due to the grids being on a very narrow setting. When the clips are duplicated the misaligned clip is too and the timing will be out of course. I'm not saying that this is what you are experienci...
