yeah, this mastering issue is a wierd one,
I personally like my tracks to be mastered pretty tightly, but I dont like them super-compressed.
When I sent an album off to my mastering engineer I got the first master back and said to him "I need more limiting please" He went mad and started this rant ...

Am I right in thinking that the "upgrade price" was "discounted" until June 3rd? So it was cheaper still...?

yeah, it wont be here until Tuesday. Why would they stop people getting upgrades after a certain day??

on the news http://www.ableton.com/news (5th one down) it says that live full version users are eligible for full upgrades to live, but until june 3rd... :s
