Actually, after reading more posts about this, I wondered if anyone has any opinions in using Live to dither / render the 24bit / 48kHz file to a 16bit / 44kHz as opposed to something like Peak or AudioDesk?

I usually mixdown at 24bit / 48kHz. I use an external mixer and bounce the stereo output back via ADAT, into Live as an AIFF. The thing that's confusing me a little is 'Dithering'. I know CD audio is 16bit / 44kHz, but I can still burn the 24bit / 48kHz stereo AIFF to CD without altering it, using ...

Note for TKLBX owners: TKLBX and Live's settings are user-specific. So be sure you are installing TKLBX under the user you use Live within.

where you logged onto the user account that is also the user account where Live is installed?

I believe it installs the presets, kits and patches into the Library of "User" on OSX.

I received my copy of Tacklebox, however when I try to install it, it says:

"Ableton Live does not appear to be installed for this user"

I have emailed Track Team, but if anyone can shed any light on this I would appreciate it, as I need to get on with a project.

I noticed this in my set last Friday. Sometimes if was okay, but other times, I found it very hard to get anywhere near the tempo of a record I was mixing into.
