My device "Configure" button don't respone on any Kontakt button :-/

I think that's instrument dependent... I mean, depends on the instrument you load inside Kontakt. Just tested it with some Spitfire stuff, and the controls (on the instruments themselves) were mappable and declared their names ...

I can automate moudulation only in midi clip. Is it possible to have on midi track?

Yep, pretty easy. You need to patch a m4l midi device that sends the correct CCs to Kontakt.

there are lots of webtools for this sort of thing, used in project management etc.
a simpler one I've used with some clients is called Toggl there's a web app and a desktop app and you can create projects in it, and graph them etc. Naturally you must click a button to start/ stop tracking. I bet ...

Is there any kind vst who can track time spending in one project?

Recently I have a habit to spend a long time on a particular project and watch it on screen
Perhaps this would be a good option in Ableton to somewhere show the time spent on an individual project.

(1) Bounce to Audio in the same track = Freeze Track, Then Flatten
(2) Bounce to Audio in a different track = Freeze Track, Drag to a new Audio Track

What more are you looking for?


Freezeing is too slow when you have long midi track (eg 8minutes or longer) and I have decent PC (i5, 16GB ram ...

It's great that Ableton finally made a new version. All I need is a quick midi to audio bounce. Freez and flat is too slow if you have a long track. It would be good to be able to tag colors on the arranger track and to be a bit bigger. I dont need another synth

I enjoy it for recording/mixing projects because of comping/melodyne integration. For mixing it is pretty nice/intuitive how the effect sends work, VCA groups bussing sidechaining.

That said, I prefer Live for actually creating a song as Live has Session View, Racks, Push 2 etc.

I MUST use new ...

Studio One is a growing beast.But i still love Ableton.
