Re: does anybody know good ableton jokes?

You should be using using the piano-roll MIDI effect, rather than the clip viewer. It works similarly to the EQ8 in beta 9. But I guess you'd consider this to be a work around. dont kill my joke.. wasnt aware of that plug in.. that maybe allows to write interactive sequencers in case it would be fu...

Re: does anybody know good ableton jokes?

when you select in L9 an eq plug in there is an automateable button that opens a big window that shows the eq parameters.. But when you select the piano roll midi editor you need to reszise the whole plug in area by hand and bring it back to normal manually too.. oh god.. handling jokes.. we b...

intelligent midi editor window

with the eq plug we have automatically a big screen when selecting it in L9

but for editing midi we have to enlarge the plugin area by hand and reszise it manually after beeing finished..

Isnt that a little stupid?

Re: should support for multiple instances of live return in L9?

i dont see what it should improve to have 2 or more instaqnces of Live (maybe in life 2 instances would be cool :P ). Isnt it a performance eater to have 2 instances open? as long you dont let them run booth at the same time and have enough ram no problem. also no problem to run them at the same ti...

Re: should support for multiple instances of live return in L9?

gisela, you can drag any sessionclip into your open set from a closed set within the browser. you navigate to the set, click a little triangle, it unfolds its channels, then you unfold a channel to see the clips, voilá. that's actually much faster than opening second instance of live and opening th...

Re: should support for multiple instances of live return in L9?

Well, in all honesty the title of the thread is a little bit misleading IMO. Because there is an configuration option "allow multiple instances". But even so; this isn't for me. I don't quite see the need nor the advantage... even have the config option always turned off. Because whatever...
