Late In responding to this one, sorry, but I had no joy powering the controller version with my 2023 MBP M2 Pro

It seems as though my TB ports output c14.7 watts but still not sufficient. I returned the controller version and upgraded to a standalone instead as a result.

Have you got a standalone version? I don't think that makes a difference for controller owners in this sort of pickle.

I have the controller version too. Push is listed under my account but with no serial so I’ve been unable to get the new pack. Still shows as a pay option only for me.

Ok so I think this input will help you : the push 3 controller does not power from usb-c/TB on my Mac mini M2 pro but it does with my macbook air m1. So that boils down to m1/m2 pro problem. I dunno if that can help the Ableton team in that regard. So no need to buy another dozen of cables :wink: 😂...

I can confirm. I tried all kind of USB-A to USB-C cables I have and with none of them Push 3 (Controller Only) managed to power on. The only way to make it work was with USB-C to USB-C cable to my X570 Asus motherboard. And yes it was with dimmed display and LEDs. P.S. 15W is a lot of power for USB...

Just got an update from HQ in Berlin I wanted to pass on: - P3 controller with 15W USB-C only operates with dimmed display and LEDs - P3 Standalone, will slowly drain the battery for a USB-C connection to a computer as these are maximum 15W.
