Re: Install Massive Ableton 9 - custom folder?
if I can't use a certain plug in, I don't get overly sentimental about it. Fair :) The error message I get when I try to drag and drop massive from the plug in's to a (midi) channel : VST "Massive": The VST Plug-In could not be found The folder is set to the VST custom in C, where the sho...

Re: Install Massive Ableton 9 - custom folder?
Ah nice, alias works then ;) Makes sense to do it for all. Kind of annoyingly it's working at the moment (I can load massive within ableton) Though I'm not too sure what folder path it's working for. Currently I have it set to the custom one, with a folder in that called Plugins.... I'm going to ins...

Re: Install Massive Ableton 9 - custom folder?
I have also tried to do it using the way of browsing to the folder in the NI directory
and
But neither of them worked, or at least nothing happened when I pressed rescan.

Re: Install Massive Ableton 9 - custom folder?
cheers yur2die4 - I've uninstalled and reinstalled Massive. Then in Live, go into the Preferences and set the vst plug in directory for files/folders to go to that location But what If I then install a different VST with a separate location? I tried using a custom folder - I created one C:\VstVsti\ ...

Install Massive Ableton 9 - custom folder?
Hi, been away from ableton for ages and currently reinstalling a few bit's on my computer. In ableton I re-scan for plugins and nothing happens, and theres an option for "Use VST plug in custom folder" iS this what most people do or not? I'm not sure how to install Massive into Ableton via...

Re: Run Mac Ableton projects on Windows running Ableton
Its pretty much a no brainer. Use the same version of live, collect and save and make sure both computers have all the same plugins. Thats it OK ace... I've heard before that Mac can add extra bit's to some files and stuff, so wasn't sure if this might have created issues in this scenario, glad to ...

Run Mac Ableton projects on Windows running Ableton
I'm not sure if this is obvious or not... Has anyone tried running Mac projects on a Window's system?
Any gotchas to be aware of? Is it not possible or does it work nicely?
cheers

Re: Midi Mapping (Beginner)
In Live, open Preferences, the MIDI tab. In the lower half of that tab is where to turn mappable and note input devices off and on. Make sure 'Remote' is turned on for Maschine. You should be able to map then. (As long as Maschine is in midi mode) Ah ace, thanks it's working now :) The templates an...

Re: Midi Mapping (Beginner)
IS YOUR MACHINE SET UP AS A CONTROL SURFACE CORRECTLY IN THE MIDI/SYNC TAB OF YOUR PREFERENCES? IF IT'S NOT SENDING CC OR NOTE DATA THEN THIS WOULD EXPLAIN YOUR PROBLEM. MAKE SURE TRACK AND REMOTE ARE TURNED ON. YOUR IMAGES DON'T REALLY HELP THAT MUCH, EVEN WHEN I ZOOM OUT TO 25% SO IT'S HARD TO DI...
