the keyboard inactivating worked for me just now

that worked THEN..
on 10.0.2 now, for some reason, pressing a doesn't bring the automation lanes anymore

so i see how simple the volume fade is..but i still can't find where any plugin or internment parameters are to do the same thing. I'm using arrange if that makes any difference

let me explain basically what my workflow is on 9 and under, if i wanted to have a filter build up on a section of audio, i would go to the first box under the track title, it would say none, i would click it a second box would appear with speaker on and the drop down would include volume, and param...

i haven't updated to high sierra (always scared of updates), but should i be doing it with ableton 10? ableton and serato are by far my most important uses on my MBP 20162.6 I7 16GB RAM, currently running sierra thanks in advance. i did notice this one seems a little laggy w some things compared to 9.

isn't that what "the bridge " did? or something close?
