Re: Dual Monitors with Universal Mixer (examples)

I should also point out. If you vote yes to the mixer or dual monitor support. These are just options. They wouldn't be a forced way to use Live. You would still be able to use Live as you currently do. There are 5 examples above, they might take a minute to load.

Re: Dual Monitors with Universal Mixer (examples)

The best would have to be able to customise it. Hi vido, The reason why I didn't go with that option is because, rather than users being able to pop windows here and there and moving everything, Ableton seems to like to have a simple controlled environment. So I made a few simple layouts that follo...

Re: Get a *real* system for tracking user requests

Yes, the simplicity of the "like/dislike" button works. It's easy for everyone to use and track. Every serious company should use a similar system. It doesn't get any easier then people telling a company exactly what they want, or being introduced to something new, and if we like it or not...

Dual Monitors with Universal Mixer (examples)

I've seen some people were confused how a dual monitor and mixer can be used. Here are a few examples. You'll see the new buttons in the top tool bar. The first button opens dual monitor mode. The other two open the universal mixer. Hit the left one and it opens in the left monitor. Hit the right on...

Re: dual monitor support damnit!!!!!

A pop out mixer would be nice. It would be easy to add to the UI. It would also be nice to have the Session/Arrangement view on one monitor (full screen always open) and the Clip/Device/FX/Browser view on the other monitor. I always expand/close the views, so the dual monitor would be a great time s...

Re: Would this be a great feature for Push?

If anyone would like to show more support for this concept, you can vote or comment on the video here:

Your opinion does matter. As they say, give the people what they want.

Thanks!

Hi StefanoMDj, Thanks for your vote. It can be done, look at products by Korg, Novation, or the Arturia Spark, even the KMI QuNeo, ICON I-C zwart and Wit. The technology is already here. Thanks again!

Re: PUSH... is something missing?

lol now that would be an interesting feature for Push to have. No one else would have that! Talk about adding more expression to the device. I wonder if it would make the music better or worse.

Re: PUSH... is something missing?

yeah, I wouldn't want the pad clickable. Two small screens would be cool too, like ios/android. Can even get extreme and put two small ipod like devices in there haha Make them program-able and update-able....

Re: PUSH... is something missing?

Hi reeloy, No, I don't think there will be a new push soon. That's why I said something was missing. Especially since they made a new XY pad and always had the old one. I love shortcuts too. And to use a mouse or not is everyone's choice. I find it more efficient for some things. Regardless, too muc...

Re: PUSH... is something missing?

Hi Timbeaux, I did actually consider the finger-mouse. The main reason I went with pads is for their multi use to switch from XY Pads, to V-Joystick, to Mouse. The pad can be used for many things. And this works for right hand or left hand people. Although the finger mouse can also be used as a joys...

Would this be a great feature for Push?

If I understand a video I saw, Ableton is offering a new dedicated XY Pad in 9. Wouldn't it be great if Push had two pads? One on each side that can have multiple functions like an XY Pad, Virtual Joystick, Track-pad Mouse w/2 Buttons, etc... For example, if you wanted an XY Pad on the left and a V-...

Re: Quick Song Mode (Full Concept)

I like that feature in Maschine too, humnumb. It makes overall song creation quick and easy. Having to adjust all the clips in Ableton seems inefficient with todays technology. The extra features are nice to have, but how can something so simple be missing.
