Yes, same exact problem here. I've stopped mapping things to the first macro because of it. VERY annoying.

Same problem here with the Touchmix 16.

To get it working, I have to open the files in an editor and resave them (32 bit float wav). That's it. Then they work fine in ableton.

I HIGHLY recommend the IKEA BRADA Laptop stand for the Push. It's under $4 USD new. It fits the push perfectly. Any of the smart covers would likely work for, but the older design specifically is more robust and can handle the pressure better.

This trick also works great for the APC-40.

I think this is desperately needed too. It's near impossible to play synths that modulates sound on aftertouch.
