Re: Drum notes always going in as 'ghost notes'. How to stop?

Hard to tell exactly what you mean, but - I once had all my notes going in with zero velocities because I had accidentally Alt-dragged on a note and it set the default volume to zero for all my notes. (I think its Alt-drag. Might be Ctrl-drag). Check and see if you did that by mistake - if you did -...

Workflow: Audio Tracks - Consolidate?

After I've done all the warping work I want on an audio track, when I'm bouncing down to final audio for mixing, it struck me that if I just consolidate the tracks, then all the warping will be included into my clips. Curious if you find that a helpful step - to consolidate the tracks, and then work...

Workflow: Drum Racks to Audio Tracks

After I'm done composing, arranging and editing a track, I generally like to reduce the track down to audio on all individual tracks for mixing. I've figured out nice work arounds for things like flattening tracks with side chaining etc for the track with the key, but one probably that still vexes m...

Audio Settings Control - Session Vs System

I use L9 on my laptop and use a few different audio controllers, depending on what studio I'm in. This has highlighted for a me a funny problem - that L9 recognizes audio settings for the session, rather than the system. So if I work on a session and setup the i/o to send the master to 3/4 out for a...

Browser GUI

After all the beta discussion about the browser, I've learned to work with the L9 browser fairly smoothly. Here are a few simple ideas that would make it more useable for me and should be relatively easy to implement. "Auto-Fold" I would like it to auto close after a short time if I have stopped usi...

Re: Is there a Global FX bypass option anywhere?

No - but I dealt with this by always putting all effects for a track within an effect rack. that way, I have a master on/off switch for the effects on the track itself.

Re: what is your opinion on the new envelope curves>

I find the implementation of limited use. I disagree with the comment above about hearing the difference. You can very much hear the difference, especially in long curves.

Re: 64-bit vs. 32-bit user count

64 bit. Iffy as to whether its worth it because of .m4a file load issue.

Re: Impossible to load .m4a!!!!

You were correct. 64 bit can't load m4a without a seperate codec.
