Echo!/Broken sound

Can anyone help me!

I have ableton 6.0.7 and a M-AUDIO keystation 49e

Whenever I play any instrument on ableton it comes out in a sort of echo and sometimes sounds like its been chopped up.

I've looked at all the settings but I can't work it out!

Any help???

thankss
