This shouldn't happen.
Do you have any instance of Simple Delay and/or PingPong Delay in your set?
Why you asked if I have Simple DeLay and PingPong in my projects? The updated versions of Simple Delay and PingPong are causing the difference in audio output?

Re: Installing Live 10.1.0 and 10.0.6 on the same computer

just install them in different folders. When you install 10.1 it asks if you want to replace or make a new install. choose the second. Will I be able to open both versions simultaneously and transfer midi and audio clips in older 10.0.6 version? I want to do this because I accidentally saved a proj...

Installing Live 10.1.0 and 10.0.6 on the same computer

Is it possible to install both versions of Live 10.1.0 and 10.0.6 on the same computer? I’ve noticed differences in the audio quality (playback and export) between the two versions.

Re: Live 10.1.0 vs 10.0.6 difference in audio playback

Yes, I have simple delay in a return track feeding some midi synth tracks. The same project (without any changes) sound smoother in previous version 10.0.6.

By the way, Can I install both versions (10.1.0 and 10.0.6) on my computer?

Live 10.1.0 vs 10.0.6 difference in audio playback

There is a difference in playback audio quality between the latest version 10.1.0 and previous 10.0.6.
Projects that were made in v10.0.6, now sound a bit more harsh and thinner. Not a huge difference, but enough to catch my attention.
Anyone else noticed this?

Re: Ableton Live 10 GUI – Clip Colors

Really surprised that no one commented here. I really fell lost in the arrangement with all the added color in clips. Live had the cleanest view from all DAWs, it’s sad to see that you tried to look like other programs. Live simply had the best GUI from any other DAW. Fast and efficient. Now I have...

Ableton Live 10 GUI – Clip Colors

Me and my partner we are using Cubase Pro 9.5 and Live 9, a couple of days ago we decided to check the newer version 10.0.3. Surprisingly from the beginning, older projects in the arrangement view seemed very crowded, and the actual cause is the full color clips. There’s simply too much color infor...

Re: No track color option in Live 9.6

Perhaps the developers could add the colors of each skin to Live's pallet color. This way it will be like having the "transparent color option" again. One final observation, when clicking on a track lane in the arrangement view to highlight it, the name area of the track (right side) is not highligh...

Re: Alter Notes FX device

Are you looking for a realtime midi/audio effect or a randomizer that writes to the clip/part? I'm not sure what you mean exactly but if I understand correctly a randomizer that writes to the clip/part. You can check this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmxPuotgli8 at 2:33. This specific exam...

Re: No track color option in Live 9.6

Disable"Auto Assign Track Colors" Set the "Default Track Color" to the background color of your set. It's the same as "transparent/no color". The only skin that matches the track color is the disco skin. All other wont match, not even default or default 8 skin. Personally I'm using the clouds skin ...

It might be, but in Live's version 9.0.6 this option (no color/transparent) was still available. I think Push was already out and working properly with Live 9.0.6.

Alter Notes FX device

Since version one in Proppelerhead’s Reason, when right clicking on a midi/rex or audio clip, a (Change Events) function appears. With this function you can change the transpose/velocity/scale tempo values, but the most magnificent choice is the “Alter Notes” function. This function shuffles and red...

No track color option in Live 9.6

When adding new tracks in live 9.6, why (no track color/transparent) is not available anymore? The transparent/no color option was making live’s GUI much more clearer and easier to the eye. From Live’s preferences\Look Feel\Track and clip colors, you can’t choose (transparent/no color). Am I missing...

Re: Midi files in Live lose settings

I've looked at the midi file. It conforms to the general midi (GM) standard and has program change messages for setting the sounds. So if you want the same sounds on playback you need a GM-compatible synth (eg. DLSMusicDevice on Mac). But why ANA synth or Atmosphere or the synths of Live are playin...

Re: Midi files in Live lose settings

Normally Live imports any control change (CC) messages of the midi file and converts them to clip envelopes. Do you have some other special messages in the file? Nope, but every time I insert a new midi file/song, Live ask me "import tempo and signature data into arrangement?". I've choose Yes and ...
