Is it necessary to re-download Packs for Live 10?
There seem to be updated versions of Live Packs that I have previously downloaded for Live 9. Is it necessary to download the newer iterations in order for them to work in 10? It would seem to be so. When Live 8 came out, there was a full reorganization of the Library. However, the user still had th...

Re: New Original Song - "Midcentury Modern" done in Live
There were multiple sessions. I wanted to try the "modular" recording method that Brian Wilson had first used on "Good Vibrations" and carried into the "SMiLE" project in '66-'67. The Live workflow allowed for most of these independent sessions to be dragged into one la...

Radial Engineering makes a full line of reamp products:

I use the Radial Reamp JCR, although only in a studio application. Never tried doing it onstage in real time.

Re: ableton live 9 with yamaha mox ???
Well, seeing that Kronos/Kronos X is their flagship workstation it would be in KORG's best interest to keep their driver development up to date. Hope they get the fix out sooner than later.

Re: ableton live 9 with yamaha mox ???
Assuming you're using the 64-bit version of Live. Have you tried using the Kronos with the 32-bit version of Live? The driver problems might not reside with Windows 8. It could be that the KORG USB-MIDI driver will be less finicky with a 32-bit DAW.

Re: Electronic Drums with Live, any users?
The Mackie plus the two K-12s should be plenty, obviating the need for a sub. Use the deep setting to avoid excess travel on the woofers when hitting the kick. @fishmonkey - Yes, the Roland kits are pricey. Yamaha probably gives a better bang for the buck in the price range of the OP's intended budg...
