Re: Key Scale and Chord Tracks to Improve Composing

The original post is now five years old, and still this is one of the features I see requested more often. Personally, this is my most-missed feature. While versatile in amazing ways, Ableton Live is quite clearly thought for electronic musicians first. The "live set" features, the built-in instrume...

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers

About tomorrow march 5, what does it mean that push will only be available for *preorder*? are they only accepting orders but push won't be out for a while? when will it be available on shops or at ableton then? what will be the advantages of preordering it vs waiting for it to finally come out?

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers

Question: Seeing all the new videos on Push coming out these days from NAMM I wondered how the step sequencer works with odd time signatures. It's all based around 4 - 8 - 32 - 64 "bits" (rows, buttons, steps) and so on. I imagine it working great with standard 4/4, but how does it adjust, for examp...

Re: Moog Sub Phatty - low cost, big features

I'd love to have a Moog like and more than anyone else, but for a tenth of the price you can buy Gforce Minimoonsta (http://www.gforcesoftware.com/products/minimonsta/videos). Maybe I'm tone deaf or simply my ear is not refined enough, but if i close my eyes I ca...

I'm not expert enough to give you any advice or constructive criticism, but I just wanted to let you know that I find it surprisingly well done and moving, reminds me of World's End Girlfriend, an artist that I love. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Ableton Push: Questions & Answers

I'm going to buy Push as soon as it's available, but I didn't use any alternative so far, like Akai APC40 or Launchpad, so mine may sound like a bit generic questions. My question is about the live usage of Push. Is it possible to set up a dynamic live environment where I switch fast between modes, ...
