Re: MIDI latency is 'remembered' in Live set. Very odd behaviour...

Ferchrissake. It was a plugin lurking in a return channel - Soundtoys Little Alter Boy. Wasn't even turned on. Delete it: no latency. *sigh*

MIDI latency is 'remembered' in Live set. Very odd behaviour...

I am using a Push 2 and some MIDI-generating M4L devices to send MIDI from a Live track to an external Xoxbox 303 via an NI Komplete Audio 6 (using MIDI cable, not USB). I then send the 303 audio signal back to a Live audio channel via the NI's audio input. It's generally working fine. I've just ope...

Re: Push 2 Sampler waveform support

Sounds about right. I went a bit ranty yesterday, I guess it's not that big a deal but I was really hoping they'd have sorted it in the 2.5 years since I nearly bought a Push 2 and actually bought one!

Re: Push 2 Sampler waveform support

I've finally got myself a Push 2. Still no support for waveform display in Sampler. This is mental. Customers have been asking for it for ~3 years now. While we're at it, clip start and end controls for Sampler via Push 2 is a no-brainer as well. I'm on Live Suite 9 but from what I understand, 10 do...

Push 2 Sampler waveform support

Waveform view on Push 2 screen for Sampler, please!

I was really excited by the waveform display on Push 2, then really surprised when I discovered it's not supported for Sampler. It's the only thing holding me back from upgrading to Push 2.

Re: Converting bit depth/sample rate when rendering

That makes sense, thanks for your thoughts. My concern is that I've been asked to provide rendered tracks without dithering ready for mastering, but if the audio is undergoing bit depth conversion on export will it not need to be dithered?

Re: Converting bit depth/sample rate when rendering

Sorry to revive an old thread, but... Also, when rendering @ 24bit after rendering Live say "converting bit depth" of each track and does so. But in the session they say they were recorded at 24...So there should be no conversion....Any thoughts here? I've been trying to find an answer to this as we...

Muting notes with Push

Is there a way to easily mute/deactivate a specific note via Push? Not an individual step, but every instance of a particular note? I've read the manual and scoured the boards and not found a way...

Re: Any Python coding ClyphX users up for a challenge?

I'm using Sixteen Macros purely to snap the parameters via ClyphX - I don't need them to be super smooth or responsive, or to access the device itself at all (although if I did want to access it then Push does map it, but the lack of dial labels is admittedly annoying). So all it's doing is mirrorin...

Re: Any Python coding ClyphX users up for a challenge?

OK I've thought of a dead easy workaround that requires no coding...

Put a Sixteen Macros M4L device in the drum rack chain. Map the individual drum sends to it (more than 1 Sixteen Macros device may be required to cover them all). The Sixteen Macros devices will be Snapped by ClyphX.

Done. :)

Re: Any Python coding ClyphX users up for a challenge?

Cheers Tom! I came to roughly similar conclusions when I peered into the code. What you suggest sounds sensible and is the logical starting point for trying to tweak the code, I recon. If/when I do give it a try I'll report back with any news! But obviously going in blind can result in hours of head...

Any Python coding ClyphX users up for a challenge?

Hey, A cheeky request... Would anyone know how to add a bit of functionality to ClyphX? I've determined that the SNAP function doesn't capture the sends of individual drums in drum racks: http://beatwise.proboards.com/thread/1359/snap-devices-send-channels?page=1&scrollTo=13922 This is totally fair ...

Saving drum rack sends as presets (preferably using ClyphX)

Hey all, I'm using the amazing 'snap' function in ClyphX to store presets of my tunes within a single Live set. Brilliant stuff. Only trouble is, it doesn't store individual sends for drums within racks. This is a shame, as other than that everything is saved/recalled perfectly. Anyone have any brig...
