More than likely A midi CC issue. A lot of midi clips include this and can reset a sound (Preset) or in your case the filter cutoff. Check within the midi clip editor to see what midi info is present.

Looks like you can search where the file is located and change it to a default sound of your choice. I know you can do this with the metronome. Anyway.. The file location is explained here>>>> "And now in 2018 we have a solution! ;) Just search file named ”MidiPreHear.aif” and replace that file...

Stick a Utility on the master and automate the gain.

I have the same issue when my project becomes very heavy. I usually just bounce the audio at this point. I can still freeze but will randomly crash the project. This never happens when the project is in light use so I gather it's a CPU related issue that Live struggles with.

file - export audio/video - selection - rendered track... select individual tracks from the drop down menu.

Really easy one mate... Its a TR-909 ride. You can download loads of variations of it that will sound exactly like that. It can be adjusted with EQ and stick it in a simpler to adjust the decay and sustain.

This works pretty well for general pumping/sidechain use and you can freeze with it on.

massive difference. I went for SSD system drive and two 7200 drives for audio and samples. Really pleased with the results.

I bought a new i7 quad pc and wanted to use 64 bit live but was also concerned with the 32 bit plugin issue.
I went for jbridge and manged to get all my 32 bit plugins working perfectly. If it never worked out i would have re installed 32 bit Live but no need to in the end.
