Re: I Opened my Ableton Project now I can't hear anything, audio is greyed out

I'm pretty sure you've already figured it out, but in case you haven't, you need to click on that red button at the top right of your tracks. It's the "back to arrangement" button. All it means is you've played something in Session View and the arrangement tracks have been temporarily dis...

I Opened my Ableton Project now I can't hear anything, audio is greyed out

Image

I just upgraded from Ableton 9 to 11, and this happened.

I've never seen this before in my life. My audio tracks are all greyed out and no audio is played back. I can still see the waveform.

Anybody have any ideas?

What are some tips for processing vocals for bad singers?

What are some ways to process the vocals for someone who is bad at singing? Notice here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kb5HdMQXMls&ab_channel=apacherelay Sometimes alternative rock, indie, singers are not the best at traditional singing, and the vocals are heavily processed and they sound real...

how to increase height/zoom in on the transient?

Lets say its an audio clip that is a little quiet, is there a way to zoom in on the transients without altering the actual volume or sample?

I want to accentuate the peaks of the transients so i can identify more easily the beats.

if that makes sense.

When you deactivate a track, does that mean CPU off also?

Hi, in Ableton, when you deactivate a track by muting it, does that mean that that track no longer uses processing power from the CPU?

Re: Crackling/Skipping in rendered wav file

No Dice. This is some bullshit right here. I recorded the isolated vocal track as audio on another file. I didnt even use ableton to do it, I used sound forge. Then in ableton i imported back in the file created in Soundforge to re-render. And the same thing happened again. Its as if Ableton cannot ...

Re: Crackling/Skipping in rendered wav file

Is this happening to only one file you record? How was the track recorded, export or in place (track record)? What algorythm did you use? Does it happen with a different algo You say it sounds fine in live but not fine outside of live. Were any other tacks running at this time? Yes only one file. T...

Re: Crackling/Skipping in rendered wav file

I have even tried recording the audio from that track to a brand new track as raw audio. It seemingly works when you are inside Live

but when export and render the crackling is still there, same exact spot.

Now this is really fucking puzzling me...

Re: Crackling/Skipping in rendered wav file

Okay, I've figured out that the crackling parts occur during parts where I'm pitching the vocals using the Apple AU Pitch plugin.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Crackling/Skipping in rendered wav file

I'm trying to bounce my song into a wav file but I'm getting these horrible crackling/skipping sections throughout the file. When you play the song within Live it is fine. Could somebody offer some guidance? So far I've turned up the buffer (to 512 from 53) and also turned off the dither (it was ori...

crackling sound when exporting/bouncing

When I bounce my track, I'm getting a crackling noise on certain parts of the wav.

What's going on?

I have about 57 tracks (live sound). It sounds fine when it is being played in live, it only occurs after bouncing.

Ah, how do you do this?

Yeah fishmonkey, sorry about that, the guitar rig was enabled in the group and not the track i was specifically trying to pan, didnt see it.
