Re: Mac V. PC. Age old debate

i love mac os x. with that said, i recently switched from mac to windows. i have used mac towers for the last 17 years; however, i made the decision to build a windows machine because mac os x was the only reason i wanted a mac tower. i agree with what a few others have said: if you want a tower, bu...

Re: Never produced on a laptop. Mac or Windows?

Thank you very much for the replies!

Stromkraft: thanks for putting that into a better perspective. I had not thought of it quite like that, I guess.

As for the size, I would definitely get a 15 inch. I am simply too use to using a large monitor, it would drive me nuts to go any smaller.

Never produced on a laptop. Mac or Windows?

Hi, For those who are familiar with producing music on a laptop: Mac or Windows? And, what kind of system configuration should I aim for? Should I pay out $3000 for a Macbook Pro, or can I get away with something for much less? Below is some context, if that sort of thing helps: I have always worked...

Re: Music tuned to 432Hz wtf!?

to quote the article on collective evolution: […] I wouldn’t say that my experience of 440hz music has turned me into an aggressive person, but I can understand how an entire population being exposed to music that is more mind directed as opposed to heart directed—not to mention all of the materiali...

Re: Any tips on reversing automation lines etc. in ableton?

you can reverse midi notes by selecting them, then pressing the "Rev" button located in the Notes box. as for automation, i do not believe there is such a tool.

Re: Why audio never goes viral

Also, I would say that audio takes more effort to comprehend, or "get", what is going on. If what someone is listening to is someone talking, they may have to spend a moment thinking about what was said and its meaning, whereas when someone watches a video, they react to it - emotionally, physically...
