Re: Lock layered drum parts?

Yep. That works exactly how I want.
That's all I was after.
I'm just now entering the EQ and compress everything phase and was getting pissy about how much work it was to manage the other workflow. This should save me a bunch of time.

Racks within racks. Man, that's deep. I never thought of that. Thanks.

Lock layered drum parts?

What up y'all? I've been messing with layering drums now for the past several months. Love it and have my workflow down pretty tight, but hit a brick wall today and as usual can't seem to Google my answer. How can I "lock?" parts that I have in my instrument rack within my drum rack so that I can ad...

My Mono Kontroller Bag Review/Experience

What up, Abes kids? I posted this on the DJTT forum but wanted to post it here as well. I just wanted to share my experience with the team at Mono bags recently. The past 3 months of my life have been rather depressing. I quit my job of 6 years thinking I had a better opportunity and that I would bo...

Re: Enter Value On Envelopes...

Yea, I mean I don't see it as too much to ask. It doesn't seem like it would be that big of a coding hassle, but what do I know?

Enter Value On Envelopes...

It would be cool if when you're making adjustments to envelopes in clips or arrangement, if one were able to enter the desired value similar to the action in a simple value window. Ex: If I want to do a volume fade from -65db and gradually build to -6db. I find it hard at times to drag the position ...

Re: Max for live authorization question

I just got a crash dialog box followed by an authorize Max dialog box. Right as I was about to save the dub delay patch I was working on from the Cycling 74 YouTube tuts. I'm not going to resort to colorful language. But I did turn green there for a moment. I just tried all of what you fine folks su...

Re: Two tracks active, bug....?

I have LP95 installed, but wasn't using it on this project. It's 5:43 am, time for bed, but I'll try that tomorrow to rule it out. I'm not exactly certified trainer level yet, but I'd consider myself an advanced user. I dug around the preferences for something to chew on but came up empty handed. No...

Two tracks active, bug....?

I found a bug and would like to bring it to attention or be told that I'm dumb and not doing things properly. Either will suffice. lol When I'm working on a new project I'll Save As, but rarely close Abes. I just hammer away and put the MBP in sleep mode when it's time for a break. On quite a few oc...

"Create WAV Version"...

When I make a WAV version of a track is it taking up more space on my drive or is the ASD file just a link file? When I drag that WAV file into Abes, it that taking up more space? I'm not low on room by any means, just want to keep things tidy. I have The Ultimate Breaks & Beats Collection and am in...

Re: Is there a way to make Drum rack sample Volume 0db default

and you can use the 'copy to siblings' command to change all the cells of a drum rack at the same time. Adjust the parameter in one drum rack cell to taste, and then right click that parameter and choose 'copy to sibling' and all other cells in the drum rack with set their parameter to that value a...

Blah blah blah...
I just hope the Retina support improves. I never really understood the fuss until I sobered up during sessions. I thought I was just always tipsy.
