I ordered a Push 2 but decided on keeping my Push 1 as well instead of trading it in. Simply because I came to the decision that my original Push is worth more than $240. Figure I can leave it at my studio where it will get less use and keep the Push 2 for home.

Are they included with the installer? Or do we need to redownload and install any packs? What exactly was added/updated?

The is no 'real' meter. Look up Peak vs. RMS. Peak is the actual values of the audio (what you would see as a waveform), whereas RMS is an average (easier to gauge overall loudness but fast transients may not show up due to being an average). Clipping in the peak meters means your audio is clipping.

What's your interface? Definitely sounds like a feedback loop with your monitoring outputs. Make sure the Big Sky is using it's own dedicated inputs and outputs on your interface and that you aren't monitoring those channels in your interfaces' mixer.

Great idea! I'm learning Max right now and learning resources are most welcome. Does anyone have any experience with the Electronic Music and Sound Design books? Was considering purchasing it but it isn't cheap and I want to be sure that it's not info that I can't get from all the free resources out...

Hi, Just stumbled upon this script after looking for some ways to program a Livid Instrument controller I just got. Is it possible to be able to select which MIDI channel is used to send data? I know it says in the documentation that MIDI data is expected to be on channel 0 or 1, but I was wondering...

Does Push need to be in User mode or Live mode to use Polygome? Trying to get it working but haven't had any luck. Haven't used Polygome before so not sure if it's something i'm doing or maybe the version of Live i'm using (9.1.1)is incompatible with the current port? Any help would be much apprecia...

another update, for anyone that cares:

They just sent me a serial for my live 9 upgrade. So looks like I am all set. I was slightly worried they weren't going to honor their free upgrade but I guess I just needed to be patient.

Update: Finally heard back from Ableton. They've swapped out my Suite 8 serial number for a new one so I now have an authorized version of suite 8. However, I never received instructions on how to get my free upgrade to 9. Emailed them back asking about it but seeing as it them a week just for me to...
