Re: Controlling Midi Devices from one ‘master track’?
There won't be one that demonstrates exactly that, you can use CLyphX Pro to do pretty much everything you want... The manual gives details on all the actions you can achieve via the various triggers available. Cheers D so just to confirm, I can use just one track in Live loaded with Clyphx clips t...

Re: Controlling Midi Devices from one ‘master track’?
I've watched quite a few Clyphx tutorials but haven't found one that demonstrates exaclty how to do this. if you know of one, can you post the URL here? Thanks.

Re: Controlling Midi Devices from one ‘master track’?
Good tip, but in my case not exactly what I’m looking for. I probably didn't explain properly and using the word 'master' was misleading. I don't want to send all my tracks to a master effects bus, just activate parameters on a mix of insert devices (both midi & audio) from a single track contai...

Controlling Midi Devices from one ‘master track’?
Is it possible to have one dedicated track (in session view) controlling parameters of devices in other tracks? I’d like to create a ‘master effects’ channel loaded with clips that I can fire with my APC 40 that modulate, or activate parameters on devices across all other tracks. If that makes sense...

No APC users here who might know? I've also posted this question on the Akai support page but have been ignored so far.

Akai APC40 & Live - Possible to 'Capture & Insert Scene?
I come up with much better ideas when I'm jamming on the APC and would like to capture these to a new scene without leaving the APC. Is it possible - maybe with a script?
Thanks,
Patrick
Thanks,

Virgin Territories? (Enabling & Disabling Automation Data)
Hello, I just read of a new feature in Cubase 8 called Virgin Territories which essentially omits redundant automation data between automated events: when activated, no automation data is written between two automated events on the same track, making it possible to freely use the space in between tw...

Re: How to automate locator commands???
Cool - minigoat's idea works. A neat way to jump to & compare different versions and sections of an arrangement. Cubase can do this instantly, as it allows you to create "backwards" loop braces, so soon as it hits the first (negative) brace, it will jump forward in time to the last bra...

Negative Loop (similar to cubase function) ?
In Cubase there is a function I used a lot before switching to Ableton....you can create a negative loop, so the right loop point is dragged to the left of the desired section – when the play cursor hits this point, it skips the time in the loop braces. This is cool for automating a perfectly timed ...

Re: NanoKontrol 2 MIDI Remote Script: "APC Emulation"
.. I'm looking at alternatives to the BCR2000 which I can't get configured. Is the KorgNano control easier to set-up and with your template here, would I be able to control Lives Devices... but dynamically, meaning the knobs will auto-map to the parameters of any selected Live Device? Thanks.

Re: Another user of the BCR2000 confused with Ableton Set-up
To switch mapping banks I press the row of buttons beneath the rotary encoders and each one I press generates a message in the status bar to let me know which bank I've switched to. Then turning the rotary encoders controllers the parameters in that bank. Not sure what's going wrong your end, sorry...

Re: Another user of the BCR2000 confused with Ableton Set-up
Ok, I'm making some progress...I tried a 3rd USB cable and got it to Dump successfully with no Er22 error message. So now, using 'Analog' as an example again...in Preset 1 with the 1st Key selected in Encoder Group (top left button) the 8 push encoders now successfully adjust the Oscillators in Anal...

Another user of the BCR2000 confused with Ableton Set-up
I'm trying to set-up the BCR to work with Ableton. It's kind of bewildering. It's not responding in a well behaved way... and it's giving me a headache. I have selected the BCR template in Preferences > Mdid/Sync. (Input & Output + Remote are all activated). I know that with this preset Abletons...

Re: Undo (Ctrl+Z) randomly does not work (Live 9.0.1)
I seem to have a similar issue. I can only undo 1 step back.. but no further than that. No one else seeing this?
