Re: Which Sample Rate bit Depth is best?
use 32bit floatpoint only for production. Downsampling/Dithering should only be done at the very end after mastering!

Re: Push quality issues, how to adress them, and UI requests.
the color issue is not firmware related, its a hardware issue so far. the LED brightness is controller by the so called PWM method (the LED will be turned off and on very quickly that makes it looks like it more dark or bright) this value is static, means it would be the same problem on every push, ...

Re: Why I will not make music with something like "push"
in my opinion, push is a toy. but i love it and i would buy it again! in general i dont know if i would use it for live performance, its to heavy and the rubber skin would get very ugly but anyway. if you dont want to go to your studio or just chilling at your couch/bed. its awesome to produce music...

Re: Multiple shades of gray/white
for me its okay, it doesnt really annoy me.
But still sad about that ableton used RGB instead of RGBW LEDs.
anyone who do electronic stuff knows that there is no possibilitiy to create real white with an simple RGB LED.

Re: Product Idea: Ableton Slide
So one of the only complains from my friends that love the APC40 is that they miss the sliders. I was thinking a really neat add on product could sit above or to the side of the Push done in the same design, but have a bank of 8 sliders and 8 knobs. If you made them right, you could even make them ...

Re: What would you like to see in Push in the future?
disable each second knob while browsing instruments!
i always go to the 2nd one for one directory deeper but hit change the top directory then because i have to go two knobs forward, that sucks. just disable the second one

Re: White Led colors have different color tints/shades
seems to only blue color led is affected but since blue colored LED on some pads is not bright enough, they will appear in light red or green. you can verify that when you set the pads color to Red Green or Blue. this is a common problem of blue LEDs, however gettin white color our of an RGB LED is ...

Push bugreports and strange behaviors
since there is no bugreport thread yet. "hidden" hits on drum sequencer. PROBLEM: if you play drums on the push and you don't strike the last step, they wont be displayed on push but played, since the hit starts very very shortly before the end of the sequence but goes into the start/first...

Re: White Led colors have different color tints/shades
count me in. this could have reasons, first: the used two different RGB LEDs (maybe cheaper) but i think thats not the reason, this would be very sad for ableton and for akai too if they using different LEDs because of the price, and put both types in the same device. the other reason is, if course ...
