Using Live to its fullest, live improv recording
Here at work we have a lunchtime jam band and because I own the company I built out a little sound-proof studio (surprisingly cheap to do actually) and got us an Apollo quad and an OctopreMk2 all hooked up live to Ableton, with less than 6ms latency total. We run Live on a Retina macbook pro too whi...

Bring in some nice sub-bass sounds about a third of the way through to really drive the sub-melody of the track and contrast against the sharp attack arpegiator sound.

Re: 9.0.5 crashing ALL THE TIME.
I am experiencing a lot of crashes with 9.0.5, too (and pops and clicks while interacting with GUI showed up, the thing I only read about so far). Crashes occur especially while freezing/unfreezing tracks and searching library. My projects are pretty light. Total 4 tracks and about the same number ...

To make it work with minimal enough latency to actuall...

Re: Convolution Reverb
I've had multiple crashes of Live.. even when doing a search on the max4live folder. All the crashes seem related to max.
(on a Retina macbook)
On a regular PC I haven't had a crash but sometimes I get some weird really long "hangs" when using Max.

Re: Warping sound of a song // adding more bass to a song
Bit of a delayed response, but I add a low pass filter, press ctrl-g, add a channel pass-through, add some resonance Q to that low pass and then add some random reverb (100%), erosion (deep and wide enough that it isn't too "noisy"), maybe a bit of overdrive (5-10%) and set that channel/ch...
