Hi all,
I'm want to buy Live 10 suite, and a Push 2.
Happy to buy them separately if that works out. Based in Italy.
I have Live 8 standard, so an upgrade from that would be ok.
Thanks

Re: Three quick questions!
There's a text file within the Live folder that you can edit. You tell it what to expect (i.e. the eight midi cc signals from your 49 key dealio) and it will enable the automap for that controller, even if it doesn't ship with that functionality. Then you will have control over whatever macros are s...

Re: I challenge you to help me work out a crafty mapping method!
@Jekblad: It's not a problem of midi numbers within the vst changing, as having to remap the assignments when I first import the vst - it's kindof me being lazy, but i really want to take as many technically minded routines out of playing and performance. Writing my own bank of patches is exactly wh...

I challenge you to help me work out a crafty mapping method!
ok, now that I have baited the cream of the forum with the dropping of the proverbial gauntlet... what I would totally LOVE to be able to do is drop a 3rd party synth or similar into my project mid set, and have tasty parameters already mapped for my controller. i thought i had this sussed out with ...

AWESOME, thanks tonemeister. I knew this once, but obviously it was pushed out of the back of my head in favour of something new.

whoa, what a douche! the reFX guy, that is. Rack me up as one more person who'll be taking any potential business elsewhere, and recommending others to as well. It maybe true that you technically could have declined the agreement after purchase, but that kind of service, policy and the termination o...

Hey hambone, just saw your reply then. Sounds like a decent setup you're running! I think I'll stick with the midikeys solution though and switch songs using the midi program up/down buttons, as I only have one usb keyboard. And I've already painted it with tacky reflective paint! Oh yeah. mucho tha...

AAaaaallllright! Thanks Hoffman, I'd looked at that program but for some reason had missed that it was totally what I needed, what a spoon. So for the record, I'm now using Midikeys as a keystroke ->MIDI converter. My next puzzle was to be able to use any of the keyboard's keys, not just the ones in...
