Re: Speakers Popping
It also seems to be worse the longer I use them. Could be a power issue? I'm using a Furman M-8DX.

Re: Speakers Popping
It's been happening pretty much since I got them. They were used, however, so maybe that's part of the problem.

Speakers Popping
I'm using Live 9 with a MacBook Pro. Every time I turn my speakers on or off, at least one of them pops. Is this bad? Don't want to be damaging these. KRK Rokit 6 RPG, by the way.

Re: Low input signals while recording
They are phantom powered. I'm not sure what the requirement for those mics is, but I'm pretty sure my interface puts out 48v.SLEEarts wrote:Are the mics battery or phantom powered? A dead battery might be doing this. If they are phantom powered, are you sure the phantom power voltage matches the mic requirement?

Re: Low input signals while recording
so the interface input pads weren't on? and do those mics have pads? how far away were you micing from? Yeah, I'm sure the pads weren't on, and the mics don't have any. The mics were just a few feet above the singers. I don't know much about these mics. They may not be the right ones for this appli...

Re: Low input signals while recording
which mics are they, and which inputs did you use on the Saffire? do the recordings sound okay when you boost the gain in Live (apart from being a bit noisy)? maybe you had the input pads on? They are Peavey ERC 12s. I used the front two inputs. The clips sound fine. Also, I realize that I need a m...

Low input signals while recording
Hello everyone! I've got a question. I was doing some recording of small vocal ensembles the other day, using two old Peavey small condenser mics as a stereo pair, a Saffire PRO 40 firewire interface, and a 13" Macbook Pro from early 2011. Even with the gain cranked to 10 on my interface, i was...

Re: ABLETON HARDWARE UNIT
Have you even seen any of the promotional vids for Push? Their whole campaign is that you don't have to look at your laptop, and it seems to work very well. Throw an iPad in the mix,and you get that touchscreen that you want. You still need the laptop open to actually run the software. Are you sayin...

Re: Copying midi patterns in between tracks limits the keyboard
Check to see if the "Fold" button is enabled. If it is, that's what happens. Also note, if you want midi to go to multiple tracks (such as when you are mixing different drum sets together) you can tell a track to take "MIDI From" (in the I/O section of the mixer) a track. Hopeful...

Re: export audio for selected tracks
Maybe you already thought of these, but here's what I would try. 1. If you can, put the tracks you need into a Group - you should be able to select that track upon export. 2. Route all of the tracks you need into a return track. I'm pretty sure you can export a return track. If not, keep them routed...

Re: Session Crossfade Automation?
I'm thinking that the clip could just hold the automation, and it would have the option to be looped or not looped, and maybe have its own individual quantization. My main problem is that it's simply not an option from any of the automation chooser windows, and I think that the master track could us...

Session Crossfade Automation?
It would really be nice if I could automate the crossfader in Session View... the way I was thinking that this could be implemented is that, in Session View, the Master Track could have "automation clips", which, as the name implies, could be clips that store automation, and nothing else. ...

Re: Three questions from a novice user
I just thought of a answer to your third question. There is a great device called Mapulator that you can download (I'll find the link later today) that allows you to map multiple paramaters to a single knob, which I know is not what you are asking, but it also allows you to set how your paramaters r...

Re: Time Signature automation please
You all do know that you CAN insert time signiature changes in Arrangement View, as well as for scenes in the Session View, right?
