Thanks for the help. Yeah, I contacted them by email, but got the automatic response that because of the high interest in Push it may take a few days to get back to me. Kind of annoying to preorder a Push to then basically end up with a brick.

I'm pretty sure my Push is defective. It should at least power on with just USB, right?

I am trying to use it with Live 9, but Live 9 is not recognizing it. What I was trying to say is that Push will not power on at all unless the AC adaptor is connected. Thanks for the help. Actually it will on turn on with the power supply connected. It's not getting any power from USB alone.

Seems to carry on forever unless I hit some buttons. It will stop and the buttons will light up as I hit them. But then after about 30 seconds it resumes the light show.

Yep, tried 3 different USB leads/cables.

I sent a customer support message to Ableton, but seeing as they are probably closed at the moment thought I'd try here. My new Push is not being recognized by Ableton.
