Clyphx automation cpu spike on stop buttom
Hi Chaps, Not sure if this is really a M4L question or general Live 9.x question. I've setup Clyphx automation to move channel selection for onstage keyboard plugin selection. I do this very simply by loading a clip with the clyphx instructions to 1. Disarm (previous armed track) 2. Arm new tracks (...

Re: Allow deep integration of the Nektar Panorama controllers!
I just purchased the Pacer pedal board with a view to controlling Ableton on-stage. I use Ableton as a synth rack, playing from a Panorama P6 and a Roland Pro-800. It is a real pain not being able to plug-n-play with a DAW template but I'm just going to have to dedicate some time midi-programming I ...

ALS files not showing under ALP files in Browser
For the last few weeks I've been suffering a problem where I save a live set (save as) in an existing or new project folder. When I try to open the file in the browser I click on the project folder but it shows as being empty - i.e. no live sets. When I look in the explorer the set are there. I can ...

Auto arm selected Group
Hi Guys, As others have asked for over a few years past I really want to see an option to enable auto-arm selected group. This is needed as I (like other keyboard players) are now using the excellent Ableton product live on stage using a number of tracks across a number of controllers/keyboards. I n...

Re: Arm two tracks from midi controller
Hi, I have and it works with exclusive off (obviously I guess)however that's not practical for my use case. I use Ableton to play keyboards in a live band and each midi track is the patch setup for each song and if the song uses both boards then there's two midi-tracks setup. I have to have arm set ...

Arm two tracks from midi controller
Hi, I've got live 9 set up with my midi controllers (launchkey and motif es). All works beautifully. I have one small desire left to fulfill which is how to arm two tracks at once. Using the qwerty keyboard I can simply hold the CTRL key and click arm on the 2nd track however when I play in a live e...

Re: Changing midi tracks / instrument racks via midi command
Oh how excited am I? I've solved the problem. I forgot to add - I'm currently using a motif ex6 as the main controller. I found a forum thread from 2009 (yes, 2009!) where a kind fella by the name of doghouse provides a way to get the Motif to emulate the mackie control surface to establish control ...

Changing midi tracks / instrument racks via midi command
Hi, I know this kind of thing has been discussed on the forum before and I've read some of those threads. What I'm trying to do is fairly straight forward in concept but maybe beyond the art of the possible in Ableton (or perhaps Music OS). I'm going to use Ableton on-stage as a 'soft-synth manager'...

Re: Rewiring Ableton with Open Labs MOS
My problem was that I was using 9.0.2 and it doesn't support rewire - that will be fixed in 9.0.3 when released. Today I rolled back to 8.4.1 and that works ok.

Rewiring Ableton with Open Labs MOS
Hi all, I'm a proper newbie. After decades of playing multiple (and heavy) boards for live I'm moving to soft synths. After much research I've gone Ableton Live 9 with Open Labs Music OS to control my Ableton songs (patches/sound, whatever the correct term is)on stage. Yes, I know I could patch my s...
