I'm glad I found this thread. I was beginning to think I had a defective device. My whites are slightly pink and one pad is more so that it's bothering the hell out of me. I have a full range of lighting gels and have tried placing some of them over my Push, and note that when I place either a green or a red gel on top of the buttons that the color variation is almost totally fixed. But when I place a blue gel on top the variations are there to see in all their glory....

I'm not sure that I can in all conscience sell my Push. No camera catches colours as well as the human eye, so the following photo of my Push may well look OK to some and much worse to other people. robin, have you tried simply substituting the colours for other ones in the .py scripts? Its fairly easy to do, im sure more discernible colour schemes are available... Indeed I have, but most alternate colours that are not too garish also exhibit too much colour variation for me to effectively use...

Having played with these colors in the Python script at https://github.com/gluon/AbletonLive9_RemoteScripts/blob/master/Push/SkinDefault.py I can report that you can choose from (at least) the following, by applying them to the Instrument class: YELLOW, YELLOW.shade(1), YELLOW.shade(2) WHITE, WHITE....
