I'm having this issue as well. Windows 8.1, Live 9.1
At first I thought it was my laptop trackpad, but it behaves this way with a mouse as well. Knobs and faders! Very frustrating. So frustrating I've even re-installed Ableton, but still have this issue.

I searched far and wide and haven't seen anybody post this issue or a fix. I'm trying Ableton 9.0.1 I believe. I have a behringer uca-202 soundcard. I can hear when I play vst's. I can hear loops I've dropped into audio tracks. However, when I record from an external source, I can see the sound wave...
