So much time lost to split your takes, create new tracks for preview , define sections, group yours different "takes tracks", etc ...

And there's no samples markers (to defines sections) as an alternate solution (like "take1 / take2 / etc").

I'm trying ableton and I a bit sceptic about ...

I also discovered that you can right click on the marker and there's an option "Loop to next marker". But you can only loop between 2 successives markers and not create imbricated zones (ex. "Song", "Verse 1", "Verse 1 Start").

Ableton allow markers but I haven't see loops markers to quickly select a loop (in arrangement view).
Also I haven't seen a "Zoom on loop" feature which allow to maximize the view width on the selected loop (also in arrangement view).

I was quite surprise that there's no "Hold" control on envelope on drumrack/simpler ! I thought Ableton was done by musicians :twisted:.

When I have to play "one shot samples" (like drums), 95% of time I don't care about sustain/release, but attack, hold and decay when it's triggered. Of course ...

And view the envelope on the the graph ! Really usefull for coarse and fast adjustment on some samples.
Of course not mandatory, all can be done with your ears, but we are in 2013 and, from a personal PoV, it speeds up my workflow.
