Re: Live 7 & Digital Perfomer 5 [midi]

I think you'd have to use a "virtual" midi connection to do that.... there's something like that in the Audio Midi control panel. You might also ask on Unicornation.com

Thanks but I note that using Live as slave, midi outs are disabled.
That's why I can't send midi data to Digital Performer.

Live 7 & Digital Perfomer 5 [midi]

Hi! Im using Digital Performer as host application connected to Ableton via rewire.
I would like to know if it's posible to use a midi track in Ableton Live to trigger an instrument in Digital Performer.

Thanks!

Thxx dcease for your fast reply!

It's obvious that they want everybody upgrade to live 7, but there are others soft that can work well sharing project on different versions, like Digital Performer or Protools.
It's a shame that Ableton can work this way...

Thanks anyway!

Sharing project

Hi! Im working with a friend on a project. He is running Live 6, me Live 7.
But when I send him the project he can't open it, so it's frustrating we can't work together. He must buy Live 7 or theres a way for me to save in Live 7 with compatibility for Live 6??

Thanks a lot!
