Save Live 12 browser filters?
Hi all,
I might be overlooking something but is it possible to save browser filters?
Would be great if it is and solve some pesky annoyances
Thanks!

Re: Anyone using the New Mac Mini M1 2020 with Ableton?
Hi,
Was using a MBP 2015.
Ableton is working fine on the M1!
Just need to be sure your soundcard is supported, I use a Behringer XR18 which is class complaint. The plugins I use most are Soundtoys, Fabfilter and U-he and they all work fine.
It looks like rendering a track takes a little bit ...

Re: Sound through Ableton out of sync
You need to adjust the timing of the midi clock you’re sending to the rytm. Basically giving the rytm a head start.
You do this by giving the midi clock some negative delay in the midi output preferences in Ableton. How much delay depends on the amount of processing you do. Mine is set to -48 ...

Re: Use of Abelton Link???
That's the whole point of Link, to sync the tempos and let you change it from one device so all the rest follow seamlessly too.
And it's pretty damn good at it too!
You can use Touchable to control Ableton from your iPad.
Check out Lemur to create your own midi controllers for Ableton.

Gui problems after a while
Hi,
Can anyone confirm this behavior?
We have two MacBook pros running our live set. Mine with 100 channels, my friend's has around 200, both hooked up via link.
We both notice significant gui issues when we're playing channels at the end of my project, so around channel 90 to 100 and somewhere ...

Re: MPC 1000 vs. Maschine mikro
What you need is a mpd218 from akai, forget about maschine and definitely forget about the mpc.
Why go for an extra box or controller with software that messes up your current workflow?
Maschine is really not as flexible as ableton live and I'm not even starting on the mpc.
Believe me you're ...

Re: Building a live set
Indeed try ClyphX.
We do shows with multiple macbooks and mine alone has almost 100 channels.
With ClyphX I manage to keep my 2011 MBP under 40% utilization.

Re: Bloody TR-8 latency!!! Please help.
I have the same setup and never use the USB mode, indeed too much latency.
When I run the TR-8 thu midi and back into my Ultralite the only thing I had to adjust is midi clock out delay compensation to -60ms to sync it nicely.
No need for a external device rack, just audio tracks for the TR8's ...
