Re: How to route a return channel's signal into a group?
Thank you so much, guys. That's a brilliant find. However I still don't understand one thing. If with ' Solo-in-place ' enabled I'm supposed to hear all the returns, then why I do hear them when I solo the 'G_Returns' group, but I don't hear them when I solo 'Lead' or 'Meow'? Thank you very much in ...

Re: How to route a return channel's signal into a group?
I am sorry for not replying right away - I was away from home for over a week. Here's an example project. https://www.dropbox.com/s/35fe1tmergpfhty/Example_returns%20Project.rar?dl=0 There are only 2 tracks: 1) " Lead " - routed to Return A 2) " Meow " - routed to Return B Return...

Re: How to route a return channel's signal into a group?
That's obvious.
But instead, I hear every track in the project.

Re: How to route a return channel's signal into a group?
That's exactly what I'm doing right now, to no avail.
Can you try it yourself? I also thought it'd work.

How to route a return channel's signal into a group?
Hi guys! I like to route my tracks in a project into corresponding groups (the groups usually are: Drums, Leads, Pads, FX, etc...) so that I have control over similar channels at once and so that I can process them together during mixing. One thing that I can't understand though is how to route retu...

Re: Please help me understand a basic (???) metering question!
How much gain were you pushing through the limiter and what is your lookahead/attack and overall limit value set at? You could still have clipping if your attack isn't fast enough, letting the peaks through. If your gain is pushing over the 15 dbs to get to zero, you'll wind up clipping if the limi...

Sorry but I didn't understand this.Tarekith wrote:Set the output to -0.3dB, with it set to 0 like it is right now, any processing the plug in does will clip.
Where is the output set to 0? On the L2? It's the ceiling, not the output.

Please help me understand a basic (???) metering question!
Hi everyone, I was making a song today and decided to put an L2 limiter on one of the tracks. The internal Ableton meter was showing that this channel was peaking at -15.6 db, see here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o9petsvlvtj5m78/ableton.PNG?dl=0 But when I put the L2 on that same channel, it showed t...

VERY strange delay issue (certain tracks only)
Hi everybody! I'm facing a very strange issue with delay in Live. I have about 30 tracks in a project, and most of them will play fine, but select tracks are being played with delay! Even within one Drum Rack: snare is playing fine, but kick - with delay! Nothing extraordinary from the plugins - PSP...

When selected, a track changes its sound in Live?
Hello everybody,
I have been experiencing the same weird bug since I updated to Live 9: when I'm playing a song and I choose one of its tracks, the selected track changes its sound. It is especially recognizable on drum tracks.
Anyone else noticed that?
Thanks for your help.
