If you use a "USB Mic" you won't need an interface. Personally I would go for an interface + mic rather than a usb mic. As far as interfaces, it really depends on your budget. There are a LOT of choices. Something like a RME Babyface would be nice. Highly portable and super nice converters...

I am SOOOO glad I didn't pre-order. Just checked my account. I have the PUSH in my cart and it says 12 - 16 weeks Looks like no PUSH until mid-late summer at least. Ableton I love you, but you totally shrimped the PUSH release.
