Re: How do you get Ableton Support to actually help?
I'm confused. You said in your first post that you've been trying to change it, but now you say you've never changed it. Also.....if it's set to the rate you want it at, why are you messing with it? If I'm missing something here, please provide a more detailed explanation. :-) You are missing the p...

Re: How do you get Ableton Support to actually help?
Crash reports won't get you a response. Afaik it is simply a way of helping the developers pick up if there are any systematic issues causing crashes for many users. Sending Status Reports to Support via the Ableton help site has helped me every time. Help -> get syupport -> generate status report ...

Re: How do you get Ableton Support to actually help?
See thats the problem I NEVER changed it in the first place and it's already set to sample rate I want it at. For some reason Live just changes it and won't let me change it back. I've tested it out on other app to confirm that it's Ableton....I am not a noob at either Ableton or audio production. N...

How do you get Ableton Support to actually help?
I've been having a problem that whenever I try to switch the sample rate (44.1 to 48kHz) Live crashes. Which by the way it just randomly changes on it's own. I have sent MANY crash reports and asked for help thru the regular channels with no reply??? Who do I have to bribe to get an answer around he...

Re: What audio interface to use with Macbook for field recording
If you use a "USB Mic" you won't need an interface. Personally I would go for an interface + mic rather than a usb mic. As far as interfaces, it really depends on your budget. There are a LOT of choices. Something like a RME Babyface would be nice. Highly portable and super nice converters...

Re: Export sounds different than when played in Ableton/44100 ?
This isn't really an Ableton issue specifically. It happens with every DAW in one form or another. What sample rate/bit depth are you working in before the render? Also, read up on dithering a bit. That said, here's a quote from Ableton about the upcoming 9.1 (in beta right now). "Finally, ther...

Live 9 "auto" selecting my controller problem
Weird issue with Live 9. Every time I open Live it automatically selects a controller for me. In this case the Launchpad. I go into the MIDI preferences deselect it as a controller, I think everything is good... when I open Live again it auto-selects it again. I deselect it in the preferences.... ri...

Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
One of the worst roll outs I've seen for any music product. There are WAY more people that want a Push than have a Push. They're going for crazy money on eBay. What a mess.

Re: Push pre-ordered on the 7th February and we are 3 months ...
The excitement is wearing off for me now especially after getting the NativeKontrol Push emulation patch for the APC40. You get step seq, drum rack seq, velocity and scale features and it came as s free upgrade. NativeKontrol is highly recommended. Been using it for a few years now and it's incredi...

I am SOOOO glad I didn't pre-order. Just checked my account. I have the PUSH in my cart and it says 12 - 16 weeks Looks like no PUSH until mid-late summer at least. Ableton I love you, but you totally shrimped the PUSH release.
