and any issues doing either way.
thanks for any advice

well that's good news. thanks for sticking with my question. much appreciated. since you seem knowledgeable about native/kontakt. i use a korg kronos synth. but it takes 5 min to boot up and sometimes i hate the wait and overusing it. so i saw this large kronos sample library for kontakt. if i just ...

Re: MULTIPLE FOLDERS for plug-ins
perhaps i didn't verbalize that correctly.
i know how to make another folder.
my question was how do i get ableton live to accept more than one folder as the custom plug-in folder.

Re: FAILSAFE backing up advice
looks like Arq isn't set up for windows quite yet. (i am using windows)
when you say the caveat of backblaze is "have to be prepared" not sure what you mean by that. i don't mind a little work at end of session.

Re: FAILSAFE backing up advice
thanks for tip on backblaze. i had a well known back up service (carbonite) only to find out that they don't back up all the files in a folder you have set for backup. after speaking with their tech people they confirmed that they don't back up files that you update to. say i have a track/project i ...
