Re: DrumRack on push as a effecter

You can trigger Sends in your Drum-Rack ON/OFF with your MIDI-Controller or You can Solo certain Pads, that are routed to specific Pads. To route Audio from a specific track to a certain Drum Pad chain, you can use Sidechain of a compressor with pre-listen ON. These are the tricks - customize to you...

Re: Midi Remote Script for 0db

I use a korg nanokontrol and scaled the MIDI-data output from the usual range of 0-127 to 0-108. This results at 0dB at the end value 108.
If you can somehow access your controller-output, this would be the easiest solution.

Cheers

Re: M4L Plugin that ramps Macro values back to default?

I know there is a line-object in M4L which outputs timed ramps. However I don't see how I can apply this. The condition for a ramp back to it's default value would be the release of a mouse click on a live dial or a Macro where this dial is mapped to. Sounds impossible to me. Is there any M4L-expert...

M4L Plugin that ramps Macro values back to default?

Hi, I would like to emulate the Pitchbend behaviour of a Hardware keyboard controller. I'm looking for a M4L device, that ramps Macro values back to a default position after making a temporary change. The closest device that I found was this: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/3197/momentary-p...

Re: Clip Position jumping when changing length - BUG?

It is a bug and here is the solution: the jumping clip contains information of the previous global tempo and uses this for alignment in the arrangement even when warp is turned of. Hit warp again, press "yes" for overwriting it with the current tempo setting and you can change the crossfade position...

Clip Position jumping when changing length - BUG?

Hey guys, I could need a hint from you. I currently try to match the tempo of an audio file by slicing up the clip in one-bar pieces. I drag the audio to the position where it sounds best. this is fine. http://fs1.directupload.net/images/171029/2smj93jg.png however, by dragging a clip to a neighbor ...

Re: splitting channels in LEFT - MID - RiGHT possible?

Thanks for this insight. This Plugin is not really CPU-heavy but I notice an increase in latency even when Live shows just 1 ms. I tried to avoid turning off Latency compensation for this current setup. It is interesting to see that it must be a more complicated operation than simple + and - operati...

Re: splitting channels in LEFT - MID - RiGHT possible?

wow! thanks for the hint regarding the waves plugin. It does exactly what I'd like to do. I tried it with a hard panned signal. There is no mid-signal coming trough until I pan it towards the mid. I consider it. But for the purpose of understanding and problem solving: this must be possible with Liv...

Re: splitting channels in LEFT - MID - RiGHT possible?

The Left and Right are really no problem. What you suggested was my second guess... In this way I still get the hard panned mono signal coming through the mid channel. But thanks for your idea! Your are right with chasing a phantom, but if you can define it, then you should be able to separate this,...

splitting channels in LEFT - MID - RiGHT possible?

Hey guys, I'd like to split a stereo signal in the following way: - (1) only signal of left channel - (2) any signal that is on both channels = mid content - (3) only right channel example for a mono sound: signal is panned hard left - there is only sound in (1) signal is panned 50% to the left - th...

try to route Push to another MIDI-Track to funnel all incoming messages... Output of this second track goes directly to your device.

yes... like mothergarage says, One instance... it receives all notes played on the rack. Filter notes you don't want to hear with a MIDI effect rack.
