Did you try updating the drivers for your interface? I had this happen to me running Live 9 brand new on my new macbook. Im using maudio profire610 thru a external firewire hard drive with a thunderbolt adapter. Updated my drivers & it went away. until now, my stoopid ass did the mac software update ...
