Mpe note off device from max4live.com helped me alot. I used that to organize notes with pressure and slide to multisliders so it's no longer random. Mpe midi from my keith mcmillan kboard recorded in a live clip works fine with my patches, but drawn midi notes do not trigger note off for some reason.

It was a great app which has shut down shop.
Ableton should buy it and continue development, because there is still no replacement I've found with soo much ableton related content, especially mu.

Various free vsts including synth1, Ms pinky, custom patches, etc. Everything I have ever made in max does this now. My 5 year old simple patches do this, even if the automation is on/off.

I can manipulate the hell out of a custom max for live patch at around 3 percent cpu, but as soon as I record any automation of the TWO parameters exposed to Ableton the cpu spikes to near 90 percent. I had the same issue, though this is a pretty old thread I found i have to crop the sample a tiny bit with no warping, then it worked as usual and save button returned. I pretty much just zoomed in extra far and nudged start or end to zero a crossing then cropped and works again, i dunno why. Pain i...
