Lately, i've been working on something different. Feedback (especially with regards to my mixdown and composition) would really be great. Thanks!

Re: Nice sounding drum samples that aren't Vengeance?
Is the issue with Vengeance samples the fact that they aren’t free? Or is it (also) the fact that they are the “Buy a Mac” of electronic drum sample libraries? The issue that I personally have with samples from Refx is that I feel like Vengeance samples are far too cliché, and that honestly, they s...

Re: Old-school, vintage sampler vibes, feedback appreciated!
I appreciate the feedback! I will definitely try to make it a bit less thinned out - I think I went a bit overboard on the iZotope Vinyl.
Thank you!

So, I made an old-sounding, vinyl-esque instrumental track, if you could give me feedback on it I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Re: Bass Question
Bass; simply put is a general term for the frequencies in and around the 20-250Hz range.
Does that help at all?

Nice sounding drum samples that aren't Vengeance?
I've been looking everywhere for some nice-sounding drum samples, not necessarily of any particular genre. Does anyone know where I could find some?
Any and all types of drum samples are welcome here, whether acoustic, electronic, or a hybrid of both. Bonus points if they're also free ^_^

Re: Ableton Live 10
-Make the second window an actual second window, were doing something in one does not limit what you see/can do in the other. So manipulating and seeing two tracks at the same time stops being an issue. -Untie Pushs selection from the selection in Live and/or let Push only influence one of the wind...

Re: Ableton Live 10
Two major wishes... 1. MIXING DESK : Something similar to Reason mixer, much easier to use, all inclusive (compressor etc.) no need to add tons of plugins... 2. DJing : better mixing tools for dj's. Why would you want that though? Either way, it's not going to save you any time or CPU, it'll clutte...

How on earth did this guy make this pad?

So I found this guy's music on youtube and i'm absolutely astounded at the quality of his pad synth - what steps might I take in order to recreate a pad like this one? Thanks!

Re: Game Of Thrones discussion thread (Possibly Spoilers)
And yet still no news of Tyrion!
The only really eventful things in that episode are Sams's transition to a more badass character, and Ygritte dying - which was actually quite sad
Damn you, George - stop killing all of the characters I like!

Re: Waveform Analysis in Ableton
This one.
http://bedroomproducersblog.com/2013/04 ... -analyzer/
It's got sonogram, phase, spectrum analysis, an oscilloscope, and more.
I use it for everything other than it's spectrum analyzer - Live's 'Spectrum' has a more fluid feel to it to be honest.

I didn't see that in the fine print. In which part do they say this?H20nly wrote:it says in the fine print that 50% of the rights and 15% of any royalties you make go to them.
your tracks will be featured in German shizer films and in a cassette player in Ron Jeremy's new double length feature.

Re: How often do you use presets?
I love creating my own sounds - but top priority is making good music.
I'd rather make good music with a couple presets here and there, rather than decent music with all-original sound design.
