Re: Monitoring click track on stage w/ mixer
Bump. I know another interface with more outputs would work. I'm still having trouble setting this up with this mixer but I feel like it is possible.

Re: Monitoring click track on stage w/ mixer
Also, any decent mixer has a sub out, that can be set up to the headphone out on the mixer, so a click can be fed to the headphones on the mixer but not the front of house. So I can't imagine the mixer is less than 4 out, check Live's preferences. [edit] A quick look at the specs on the mixer says ...

Monitoring click track on stage w/ mixer
Hello all, I have a question regarding the use of a click track on stage. I am using a Behringer Xenyx X2222USB mixer for the output, and I would like to have backing sounds going to the mains and a click track to the drummer. Using the Ext. out for the mixer in Live only lists channels 1 and 2 (L/R...

Questions about Touchable for iPad
Is it possible to change the order of plugins in the device module? Or are we forced to just add plugins one after another? Also, is it possible to start playback from other positions besides the very beginning? I usually work and record in arrangement view so this functionality is important to me.

Reverb after compression on grouped tracks
I record my drums using 2 mics, one for the kick drum and one for the rest of the kit. I typically group them together and add compression, but I would also like to add reverb to just the overhead mic channel after the compression. How would I go about this? Im assuming by using a return track but t...

AH yes, exactly what I needed. Way more simple than I expected, thanks for the quick response!yur2die4 wrote:Does changing monitoring to "In" instead of "Auto" resolve the problem? You might not even need te track Armed anymore when you have it set up like that.

How To Prevent Clip From Recording While Track is Armed?
I am using ableton for live shows and I have a bit of an issue. I use Push to trigger drum clips on one track, a midi keyboard for live bass on a second track, and a midi keyboard on a third track for live synth parts. I have the "Midi From" for each track set to the midi devices so that o...

Re: Transferring tracks from Logic to Ableton, decreasing volume
Look at the ADSR in the simpler in the drum rack. By default it's set to a short release time so if you're triggering the sample with a pad it will fade as soon as the pad is released. You can increase the release time (to up to 60 secs IIRC). Also there's a MIDI plugin that will extend the initial...

Transferring tracks from Logic to Ableton, decreasing volume
Just starting to use Push and Ableton during a live setting, and I'm figuring out stuff as I go. One of the problems I've ran into is this: We have recordings on another computer that are will be used for parts of our songs live. Parts are sent over from Logic as WAV files and dragged into a drum ra...

Re: How to tune drums?
Thanks!re:dream wrote:A good strategy is to pitch the sample up 24 or 36 semitones. You should be able to hear the basic 'pitch' of the kick fairly clearly. Tune to taste, and then transpose down again by 24 or 36.

How to tune drums?
Say I load an 808 kick into a drum rack. How would you transpose it to a certain key? For example, B.

Re: Tip: Excellent stand for Push
+1. Good stand, ordered one for the MacBook as well. I agree with zero, the assembly is slightly annoying because of poorly cut openings where the screw attaches. But other than that it is well worth the money.
