Re: Live 9.5 crashes/issues
apparently it was Spire 1.1 that needed to be updated to 1.1.1. Which is fucking weird, because it worked fine after I installed it Weird or not it illustrates the very real need of checking full compatibility of all your plug-ins, drivers and hardware before updating your DAW. Re: Live 9.5 crashes/issues
Scanning plugins folder (on start-up or in settings) crashes Live every time. I've tried resetting Live as suggested on here: https://www.ableton.com/en/help/article/live-doesnt-start/ However, that doesn't fix the actual scan crash in any way. I haven't changed my folder settings (Programfiles>Stei...

I think I may have hovered over that Info button when I tried tabbing between OSCiLLOT and the Task Manager

Re: OSCiLLOT
Oscillot Lite (on Win10 with Max 7) just blue-screened my system. Haven't experienced that since Windows 7..
Was testing one of the sequencer patches, but it crashed when I tried to bring up the Task Manager to check CPU usage (which was low)
edit: Max 7.0.5. Have updated it to 7.0.6 now.

Re: Push 2 coming soon?
Ordered trade-in last friday. Yesterday the estimation changed from 1-2 weeks to 'less than a week'. But today it changed back to 1-2 weeks.mercury007 wrote:I just purchased one with the Push trade-in but it says pre-order 2-4 weeks? Is that a mistake?

Re: Push 2
I think as MArc75_RLP. What's really new and exclusive for Push 2? 1) The possibility of editing samples "on the fly". 2) Pads I think that paying 699€ (or 489€ turning back your Push 1) is totally crazy! Push 1 is updated with Ableton 9.5, samples pre-listen from browser, 3rd parties VST...

Re: Push 2 coming soon?
From what i read, they provide you with the packaging to send it back in. Found the link: https://www.ableton.com/en/help/article/how-trade-in-works/ Please double-box the Push 1 unit securely to avoid any damage incurred during transit. But do you have to double-box it yourself, or does DHL/whoeve...

Re: Push 2 coming soon?
How securely packaged does the Push need to be when sent for trade-in?
I haven't returned/sent anything in ages.

Re: Push 2
They re-designed the pads, which is something that might be quite an improvement.Sternenlicht wrote:Hmm, what i dont understand is: why should i upgrade from Push1 to Push2, is there something what Push 1 cant do ?
The layout looks similar. Only for the improved LCD ?

Or Keith McMillen. Got the K-Board recently for my laptop and the response on those pads is fantastic.yur2die4 wrote: I would way prefer NI, Novation, M-audio (although they are now Akai), korg. Pads
Don't know what it is with AKAI, but they sure love making stiff buttons and clunky keys.

No, a more apt comparison to Serum would probably be Waldorf Nave or Tone2 Electra2

Why even do it? With warez you just get either outdated versions/trial versions or something that is stuffed with malware. I'm with you on trying to convince him to be fair to the developers, but that statement is just bullshit. In fact many legitimate owners use the cracks to the stuff they bought...
