Ableton midi editor is simple and beautiful one but it is missing lots of midi functionality like you can find ones in Logic Pro and Cubase.

Yes it is 2018 and what they did in the last 5 years just catch up . Live midi editing needs so many features!!!
Go and see Cubase and logic midi editing how superior it is and they are cheaper then ableton.
