That pretty much correlates with what I am seeing, and I think the problem is exacerbated by powercore because it has a very high initial threshold on CPU usage, which instantly puts you closer to the new lower effective CPU ceiling. So, is this an issue Ableton is likely to address or is this the i...

True, but....
I agree that should help, however, what I am really wanting to know is why I am all of a sudden having these issues in Live 4, when with everything being set the same, I didn't have these problems in 2.1.1. I am wondering if other people, perhaps using Live 4 and powercore, but not MOTU hardware are...

frequent audio "glitches" with Live 4.03 and powercore 1.9.2
I am a longtime Live user and I have never had problems with momentary interruptions in audio playback until Live 4. I am running Live on a G4 933 with 1.25GB ram, single proc, OSX 10.2.8, with a powercore PCI card software version 1.9.2, MOTU 2408 mk3, buffer at 1024, and Reason 2.5 rewired in. Eve...

OSX?
Is anyone using the PCI version of powercore successfully in OSX with Live 2.1.1 and Powercore version 1.7? I want to know if this is a viable way to get more "juice" out of my computer while using Live.
Thanks
Thanks

recording ableton tracks as audio into logic 6.0 via rewire?
Hello, I have logic platinum 6.0 on OSX and live 2.1.b2 and I am able to monitor/route individual Live tracks into Logic by assigning the output of a specific track in Live to a rewire bus. But, when I hit record on the rewire track in Logic, the transport starts but it does not record an audio file...

Logic 6.0 does act as a rewire master
Alex,
Thanks for the reply. Since Logic 6.0 is now a rewire master application as well as Cubase SX, I was just wondering if there was any new information regarding a timeline for Live rewire slave functionality.
Thanks.

Timeline for Live as Rewire Slave on OSX
Hello, I was wondering how soon we can expect to be able to use Live as a rewire slave on OSX? This seems like it would be a fairly major feature priority now that a majority of the bugs in 2.0 have been fixed through updates. I am sure I am not alone in wanting to use Live 2.0 with Logic 6.0 on OSX...

I am using a Delta card
Hello, I am using a Delta TDIF card and I am routing individual outputs (digitally, not via analog) out of Live to channels on my Tascam DM-24 mixer. I love being able to process things externally using tube/analog gear and I honestly believe that the sound is improved by doing some bus summing exte...

All tracked in Live
I am using Live, Reason, bass, rhodes piano, electric guitar all running into my Tascam DM-24 digital mixer then to an m-audio Delta TDIF card and into Live. All vocals, guitars, bass etc in this song was 100% tracked into Live.

I have noticed this too.
I generally agree with you. I am using live on OSX on a desktop g4 with a 10 (digital) output Delta Tdif card (8 tdif I/o + stereo SPDIF). I have been working in 24bit, and then sending 10 submixed tracks out to my Tascam DM-24 mixer for more processing (including using the analog inserts for analog...

What hardware do you use?
Logicat,
What audio hardware are you using? I have both an m-audio quattro and a m-audio delta tdif pci card. I'm interested to see if you or anyone else has had experiences with either of those 2 devices under 10.2.4.
Thanks.
