if someone could make a tutorial on how to switch channels on controllers. that would help me out a lot here.

I'm sure what you're saying makes perfect sense but I'm not exactly getting it still haha. Maybe add me on skype real quick and get this sorted out?

I mean in the project in general. That doesn't solve the problem. They still eventually run into each other. Different channel or not, they still run into each other.
