Re: [SOLVED] Browser: "Add Folders" function produces empty folders
I thought I had done this already because I could see file extensions in the finder BUT, in the finder preferences, I found the show file extensions was unchecked. (New OS along side upgrading to 10) There's a shit ton of samples on this external and the spinny wheel thing by "places" has ...

Re: Plugins disappearing from view too quickly
Have you tried turning off the auto close/one window open at a time function? I know that isn't exactly what you were talking about but if they still close then there certainly seems to be a bug.

[SOLVED] Browser: "Add Folders" function produces empty folders
Recently upgraded to 10. The bulk of my sample library is stored on externals. With live 9, I would use the add folder function, select the section I wanted, click on that folder in the browser and I could navigate to sub folders and find the samples within. Live sees the external and the folders, b...

Template: Random track colors upon new session
(9.7) Did a major rework of my Live template and the track colors are now fixed. I've fiddled around in the preferences section regarding track color settings and I cannot get Live to assign new random (gradient) colors upon starting a new session. I even reworked the template entirely after I first...

Re: [EDM] Avitik - God Mode
Your link is broken, BTW. I feel your tracks could use more atmosphere. More space and more groove between sounds. It's a little flat sounding and ridged. Maybe try doing more interesting things with effects, sampling, reversing, reverbing, chopping, bla bla bla. Just got to keep doing it. Me too, M...

I haven't listened to this on my system, but, the bass is WAY too high for sure.

Re: Is it too muddy?
I'll give this a proper listen later. Do you ever listen to your tracks in on a full sound system? My little monitor rig sometimes doesn't give me the whole picture or at least the picture that counts; that of a pa system. If my stuff is too bassey, that's where it really shows.

Re: Can I copy and paste IN PLACE?
Tagor hit it. Just use the selector as the point of reference (in the new clip). Highlight an area where you have that standard reference point (you could highlight the whole clip but only hit the notes you want to copy). Or, you could duplicate the clip and add in what you want from something else....

Re: Break beat (minimal lead-ins, does it work?)
The production just sucks. But I had some good inspiration channeling happening there. That whole middle section came out of nowhere and wasn't part of my original sound design. Pretty stoked about that. I'm sure with the help of some other more experienced friends, it could be done up more proper, ...

Re: [House] Klangohm - Breathe
I like the asymmetrical nature of the track. Good buildup at the end.
I'm not the person to make comments regarding production. Sounds pretty good, but I'd make a more standard ending with parts slowly getting removed so it would be more straight forward for a DJ to mix.
