Changing "starting position and key sync" is one way to thicken a sound inside a synth. Similar to 'phase' effects. When you layer, be careful about having the freq ranges step on top of other instruments. Eg, putting 3 base drums on top of each other may step on the bass line & vocal/...

Most of it sounds like a mess; too much up front going on. Brains can only handle so much at once. You can do multiple layers, but most are in the background, or aren't there all the time.

It has been a long while since I really used Live (v7), so I need to get up to speed quickly. I find if I take another project & hack at it, I learn the best & fastest. I self-taught Buzz & SynthMaker this way. There are enough tutorials everywhere, so an .alp/.als file would really help...

There are like 100 things to make it more "exciting", from tweaking the effects/sounds as you go along, to adding subtle new layers.

You might want to note that the revision number (r######) & the date seem to both grow larger.
